At the NYU School of Engineering, we train our students to do exactly that: to engineer the future of finance and transform financial theory into practice. The MS in Financial Engineering program furnishes students with foundational knowledge in financial concepts. This knowledge then becomes a springboard to specialized fields where students can apply concepts to everything from derivatives risk finance to financial IT and algorithmic trading on Big Data.

课程设置：

1 required applied lab worth 1.5 credits
1 capstone experience of 3 credits

Bloomberg certification of 0 credits


学生还须完成Bloomberg Essentials在线培训课程，并获得结业确认书，才能获得毕业资格。学院将通过提供彭博终端和实验室助理来帮助学生解答相关问题。

除了由NYU职业中心提供的资源外，MSFE学生还可以通FRE内部的职业部门获得职业支持。从FRE校友活动，到招聘演讲、简历制作和模拟面试，项目的学生可获得丰富的就业资源和指导。此外还有每周与行业从业人员的研讨会，给学生提供更多机会与专业人士接触。


根据调查数据显示，该项目求职毕业生平均基本工资：96,961美元，毕业90天内就业率达到了86%。很多毕业生进入了Bank of America Merrill Lynch，Bank of China，Bank of Communication，Capital Market Risk Advisors，Cheers Financial Institute，Chegg Inc.，Deutsche Bank等公司工作。
